Jen Coppock Sports Coach & Personal Trainer is a leading fitness professional based in Llangollen, New Zealand. With a focus on sports biomechanics and personal training, Jen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her clients.
Living in Llangollen, Jen knows first-hand the challenges of juggling family life with fitness goals. As a mother of four children and wife to a patient husband, she understands the importance of finding a balance and making time for self-care.
Jen's fitness journey began after a severe ACL injury during a roller derby collision. Frustrated with the rehabilitation process, she switched her focus to pre-hab and dedicated her time to helping others prevent injuries and improve their overall movement.
In 2017, after having her fourth child, Jen weighed in at 19 stone. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the struggles many individuals face with weight gain and fat loss. Determined to make a change, she turned to running as a way to shed both physical and mental weight. Along the way, she discovered a passion for endurance sports and became a certified run leader, coach, and group triathlon coach.
She is also currently training for the Outlaw Half triathlon in 2024.
Jen holds several qualifications, including being a Level 4 Biomechanics Coach, Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 2 Fitness Instructor, and Level 2 Group Triathlon Coach with British Triathlon. She is also a certified Swimming Teacher for Children and Adults and a Level 1 TrainingPeaks Coach. Passionate about continuous learning, Jen regularly updates her skills and knowledge to provide the best possible training experience for her clients.
Jen offers a range of fitness services to cater to different needs and preferences. She conducts group fitness classes such as Tabata Tuesdays and Workout Wednesdays, providing participants with a challenging and enjoyable workout experience. Additionally, she offers run coaching, providing monthly group runs, personalised running plans, and biomechanical assessments for running.
For those seeking personalised attention, Jen also offers one-on-one personal training sessions from her gym in Llangollen. Clients can choose to train individually or with a friend, with sessions starting from just 6 per person. She also provides gait analysis and intrinsic foot analysis, using state-of-the-art technology to assess movement patterns and identify areas for improvement and injury prevention.
In the near future, Jen plans to introduce 121 Triathlon Coaching, bringing her expertise to individuals looking to excel in this challenging sport.
