About
Join Joe West Hockey Enterprises for a skills development training camp focused on proper shooting techniques. The camp offers 100 minutes of ice time daily, with a curriculum that includes 50% learning proper fundamentals through repetitive practice, 30% engaging in game-like situation drills, and 20% participating in 3 on 3 cross-ice scrimmage or competition. Over the course of five days, participants will work on different types of shots including Wrist/Snap shot, Slap shot, Backhand shot, deflections, One timers, and Direct shots, with a final day dedicated to reviewing the skills learned and enjoying a one-hour game. This camp is open to boys and girls aged U11 to U14. The camp will take place from July 22 to July 26, 2024, at Keewatin Arena in Kenora.
