Johnno's Boxing Gym

Johnno's Boxing Gym is a sports club located at 5/187 Fairfield Road, Guildford West, NSW, 2161 in Sydney. The gym is equipped with top-quality facilities, including a full standard size boxing ring, two rubber matted areas for training, and a range of punching bags such as hanging bags, floor to ceiling bags, and speed balls. Additionally, there is an upstairs weights area for strength training.

The gym is proud to have a team of experienced and qualified trainers. The main trainers at Johnno's Boxing Gym are Warren Johnson, Jose Jorquera, and Jennifer Massoud. These trainers are registered with Boxing NSW and hold Boxing Coaches qualifications, allowing them to provide high-quality training and coaching to boxers.

Johnno's Boxing Gym offers a variety of boxing classes throughout the week. The classes consist of circuit training, focus pad work, punching bag drills, and sparring. Circuit training includes a variety of exercises targeting upper, core, and lower body to improve strength, cardiovascular endurance, speed, power, coordination, and flexibility. Focus pad work is aimed at developing proper punching technique and combinations, conditioning reflexes, timing, and defensive skills.

Punching bag drills focus on improving hand speed, stamina, coordination, and execution of combination punches. Sparring, always supervised for safety, provides an opportunity to practise defensive and offensive routines and combos.

These classes cater to individuals interested in self-defence, fitness, or competition. Whether you are a beginner looking to improve your fitness, an experienced boxer preparing for a fight, or someone who just wants to learn self-defence techniques, Johnno's Boxing Gym has you covered.

Johnno's Boxing Gym operates on specific days and hours. Boxing classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Monday's classes include Boxing Circuit from 4:30 pm to 5:20 pm and Boxing PT from 5:30 pm to 6:20 pm. On Wednesdays, there is Technical Boxing from 4:30 pm to 5:20 pm and Boxing PT from 5:30 pm to 6:20 pm.

Thursdays offer Boxing Cardio from 4:30 pm to 5:20 pm and Boxing PT from 5:30 pm to 6:20 pm. The gym opens at 4:00 pm on these days.
