Emily started at a local dance school before diving into her professional qualifications. She’s got a Fellowship in ballet, a Licentiate in tap, and Level 4 qualifications in modern jazz and theatre craft with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).
She’s all about nurturing a love for dance and helping her students reach their potential. Emily creates a supportive and inclusive space where students can express themselves through movement. Watching her students develop their technique, creativity, and confidence makes it all worth it for her.
Emily also specialises in ballet pointe work, tap, and modern jazz. She's great at preparing students for exams and performances, and she loves being part of the annual showcases and competitions at Jordyn Louise Dance (JLD).
JLD opened their state-of-the-art studios in January 2022. These custom-designed spaces offer a professional and spacious environment for students to learn and rehearse. They’ve got classes for all ages and skill levels, from 18 months to adults. Whether you're in it for fun or dreaming of a dance career, JLD has got you covered. 💃
The main goal at JLD is to give top-notch dance instruction without breaking the bank. They take pride in their friendly, personal, and creative environment where students can enjoy the perks of dancing while having a blast. The teachers at JLD, with their industry knowledge and qualifications, are all in when it comes to helping students reach their full potential. They’re committed to fostering a love for dance, nurturing talent, and teaching discipline and perseverance.
JLD offers loads of opportunities for students to show off their skills. They have yearly showcases and examinations with the IDTA, giving students valuable performance experience and recognition. For the competitive spirits out there, JLD’s competition team might just be what you’re looking for.
Besides regular classes, JLD offers private tuition and wedding dance lessons for those after a bit of specialised coaching. They also have a range of merchandise available, so you can show off your JLD pride.
Jordyn and her team know how important it is to create a welcoming and safe environment for students and their families. As a mum of two, Jordyn understands the peace of mind parents need when dropping their kids off at dance class. She’s all about creating a homely vibe at JLD, and you'll often find her chatting with parents and students, ready to address any concerns or questions.
Jordyn Louise Dance isn’t just a dance school; it’s a community where students can learn, grow, and make lifelong friends. The team is passionate about inspiring and nurturing the next generation of dancers and can’t wait to welcome new students into the JLD family. 🤗
