Journey to the Centre Yoga Winnipeg is a community-based yoga studio located at The Link on Sterling Lyon Parkway in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The studio offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere where individuals of all ages and levels of ability are encouraged to join. Classes are led by experienced instructors and cater to different levels of ability.
The studio runs daily classes including an All Levels Led Class called “Breathe & Connect,” which is a flow style class where all asana postures are practised on the floor while sitting or lying down. The Intermediate Led Class, “Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga”, is a flow style class where asana postures are practised while standing, sitting, as well as lying down. The All Levels Class, “Mysore Yoga”, is a form of yoga therapy that realigns the spine, detoxifies the body, builds strength, flexibility, and stamina.
Pamela Kok, the studio's instructor, holds a degree in Kinesiology and Developmental Studies, which complements her yoga teaching by understanding the body throughout different developmental stages of life. She is passionate about helping her students achieve their goals based on their individual needs. Pamela believes that yoga is a way of being that nourishes us and brings balance into our lives. She is a Canadian Yoga Alliance Certified and Insured Instructor.
