Suzie from JUMP Gymnastics Academy here, wanting to give you all a quick update and a friendly shoutout. As you might know, JUMP Gymnastics Academy is nestled in Glasgow, right at Broadwood Stadium, and we've become quite the hub for gymnasts of all ages and skill levels since we kicked things off in 2010.
JUMP is officially recognised by North Lanarkshire and we're chuffed to be tied in with British Gymnastics, making sure we tick all the right boxes when it comes to keeping our members safe. Our facility in Cumbernauld is purpose-built, so you're getting top-notch gear and a space that's perfect for honing those gymnastics skills.
The JUMP Programme is all about giving kids a solid start and letting them grow through the sport well into adulthood. Suzie's goal is to build confidence, forge friendships, and keep everyone moving. We’ve got something for everyone—from the tiniest tots in pre-school classes to budding athletes in our competitive performance groups.
Every gymnast at JUMP gets the right amount of challenge. Coaches are there to help set goals and support gymnasts in smashing them. Suzie and the team make sure everyone's voice is heard when shaping the programme, and our qualified coaches are always on the ball, keeping an eye on progress.
A big highlight for us is the Young Leaders Programme aimed at secondary school kids. It's all about mentoring future sports leaders, offering hands-on experiences that have even led some to become qualified coaches in various sports.
Our ties with Scottish and British Gymnastics are strong, and their support has been key to our growth and success. It wouldn't have been the same without them.
As we hit our 13th year, Suzie wants to thank everyone for the journey so far and say there's plenty more to come. We're all about fun and friendly gymnastics, and we invite everyone to join in and feel the joy gymnastics brings.
Safety and professionalism are non-negotiable for us at JUMP, and we stick firmly to the guidelines from British and Scottish Gymnastics. That means solid safeguarding, strict health and safety measures, and a fair code of conduct for everyone involved.
