Junior Coaching is available at Peterculter Golf Club for boys and girls from a young age. The coaching program covers various aspects of golf, including how to hold a golf club, swinging safely, essential golf rules, etiquette, and advanced shot making. The sessions are organised by the Club's PGA Professional, Gary Lister, in four-week blocks throughout the season.
Additionally, Junior Golf Camps are held during the Easter and Summer holidays, offering 2-hour sessions for a morning or afternoon from Monday to Thursday. These camps provide a fantastic opportunity for young golfers to develop their skills and have fun in a supportive and inclusive environment.
For girls interested in learning golf together, the club organises a Girls' Golf Hub every year. This initiative aims to create a welcoming and enjoyable space for girls to come together and learn the sport. The coaching sessions are conducted by a group of PGA Level 1 Coaches, who utilise games-based coaching for beginners and tri golf sessions once a month to prepare them for the golf course.
Speaking of tri golf, Peterculter Golf Club has its own short 6-hole golf course, known as Tri-Golf, located on the practice ground. This is the perfect place for beginners to learn and practice the game, offering a friendly and forgiving environment to build confidence and improve skills.
