Moranbah Golf Club is pleased to announce an exciting event for all golf enthusiasts in the Isaac Regional area. Introducing Moranbah Junior Golfers, a fantastic opportunity for children up to the age of 18 to indulge in the wonderful sport of golf.
Our club understands the importance of providing a platform for young golfers to learn and grow. With Moranbah Junior Golfers, children can enjoy playing alongside peers of their own age and showcase their skills in a weekly competition held every Sunday morning.
One of the best things about Moranbah Junior Golfers is that it is open to anyone who wants to join throughout the year. Whether your child is a budding golf pro or just starting to show an interest, they are welcome to come and join in the fun at any time.
To ensure a fair playing field, we have designated tee times for each age group. The schedule is as follows:
- 7:30 AM: Tee off for our 18-hole players, specifically designed for ages 15-17. The cost for participation in this category is a modest £7.
- 8:00 AM: 9-hole players, aged 13-15, can showcase their golfing prowess. The entry fee for this category is only £5.
- 8:30 AM: Our 6-hole players, aged 10-13, have a chance to shine on the course. The cost to participate in this category is just £4.
- 9:00 AM: For our youngest beginners aged 5-9, we have a dedicated 3-hole course. This category allows our little ones to experience the joy of golf. Parents and guardians, please note that the entry fee for the 3-hole course is £3.
We kindly request participants to bring along a water bottle, wear a hat to protect themselves from the sun, and carry their own golf clubs. However, if anyone needs golf clubs, we have a selection available for use.
After an exhilarating game on the course, we will gather for presentations and award prizes to our deserving winners. It's a wonderful opportunity for players to feel a sense of achievement and celebrate their golfing skills.
