Lunenburg Yacht Club is excited to announce a special Sailing event for junior sailors this summer! From July 1st to August 19th, young sailors of all experience levels can take part in a fun and educational program that aims to instil a passion for sailing, teach fundamental skills, and encourage teamwork and leadership. Located in the stunning Mahone Bay, with its iconic Maritimes islands as a backdrop, this program is sure to provide a memorable experience for all participants.
Led by experienced instructors, the program caters to children from Primary/Kindergarten age up to 18 years old. Whether they are beginners looking to learn the basics or advanced sailors seeking race training, there is something for everyone. Sessions run all day and involve sailing different types of boats such as Optis, 420s, and Lasers. In addition to sailing, participants can enjoy fun activities like crafts, games, and team-building exercises to enhance their experience and create lasting friendships.
