Mullaghmore Sailing Club is thrilled to announce that the Junior Sailing Programme for 2024 is now open for booking. With limited spots available each week, it's a good idea to secure your spot early. The programme will run from 1st July to 11th August, offering six weeks of thrilling sailing activities for participants to enjoy. Each week costs €200 per child, and we welcome sailors aged 9 years and above to join us for a relaxed and enjoyable learning experience on the water.
Participants are required to bring a properly fitting buoyancy aid or life jacket, as safety is our top priority at Mullaghmore Sailing Club. A swim test will also be conducted to ensure confidence and competence in the water. Our dedicated team of instructors will be there to supervise from morning until afternoon, following all safety rules and regulations set by the Irish Sailing Association Small Boat Sailing Scheme.
In case of bad weather, theory sessions will be conducted to keep the learning progress going strong. We offer a variety of boats including Picos, Fevas, Toppers, and GP14s to cater to different ages and skill levels. Parents can easily track their child's progress and make payments through ClubForce Checklick.
The highlight of the programme is the 2024 Junior Regatta on Saturday, 12th August. It's a fantastic opportunity for junior sailors to showcase their skills and have a fun day out on the water.
