Just Imagine Dance

Just Imagine Dance is a dance school in Richmond, New Zealand that offers playful, nurturing, and magical dance classes for children of all abilities. The school believes in the power of play, kindness, and imagination, and these values are woven into every class to create a truly magical learning experience for each child. Parents are also invited to be part of the magic, with younger children under 4 joining in the fun for the first class and every class thereafter. For older children, parents can watch them dance during special “watching weeks.

Just Imagine Dance offers a variety of dance classes for children, teens, and adults. They provide ballet classes starting from 6 months of age, as well as contemporary, street, jazz, and musical theatre classes for older children. The school also offers regular events and workshops to keep the magic flowing throughout the year.

The classes at Just Imagine Dance are centred on the well-being and development of each child. Every child is welcome and celebrated for their unique talents and personalities. Ms. Jessica, the Artistic Director and Principal, has created a syllabus that aligns with children's physical, emotional, and social development, as well as the National Curriculum's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYES).

The school believes that every child should be able to enjoy the benefits of dance, so they offer private one-to-one and small group tuition for children with additional and SEND needs.

Just Imagine Dance welcomes all dancers and can't wait to see each child in class soon. The school offers a range of classes, including ballet, contemporary, street, jazz, musical theatre, boys only ballet, and a specially designed programme called Shine for children with SEND needs. Just Imagine Dance also offers Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations and class awards, dance teams, adult ballet classes, and family ballet and tap classes.
