Since its inception in 2009, KA Equestrian has evolved to offer diverse livery options, alongside comprehensive training and coaching services. Located in Kinross, it serves as a hub for riders and their horses.

Karen Anderson, the driving force behind KA Equestrian, has always been passionate about horses. Her involvement began in the Pony Club, with a keen interest in show jumping and cross country. A pivotal moment came when Karen acquired Star, a 14.2hh pony in need of dedicated re-schooling, which ignited her commitment to horse training.

Karen's career path veered towards the training and schooling of horses rather than competition. She honed her skills at a backing and schooling yard, learning the intricacies of starting horses. Gigha, a Scottish Sports Horse trained up to Advanced Medium dressage under Karen's guidance, had to be retired due to health issues, but this setback did not deter Karen from her equestrian pursuits.

Alongside her practical experience, Karen also pursued academic studies at the University of Edinburgh. Throughout this time, she continued to refine her training techniques and expand her freelance services.
