Bharathanatyam is the oldest among the contemporary classical dance forms of India. This solo dance form exudes the chiselled perfection of ancient Hindu temple carvings, with a certain timelessness that enshrines the eternal craving of mankind for heavenly fulfilment.

Carnatic music is the classical music of South India, known for its complexity and richness. It is one of the oldest systems of music, based on “Ragam,” which represents melody, and “Thalam,” which represents rhythm. At Kalaimanram, we offer Carnatic vocal lessons along with Bharathanatyam, allowing students to explore both the dance and music aspects of the South Indian culture.
