Welcome to the Kāpiti BMX Club! Located in Paraparaumu, this club has been around for over 41 years, solidifying its place as one of the most longstanding in New Zealand. Since being established in 2000, the Kāpiti BMX Club takes pride in being family-friendly and inclusive, welcoming riders of all ages, genders, and abilities.
Every Wednesday and Friday evening from September to April, the club gets together for some serious fun. Wednesdays are all about training from 5 pm to 6 pm, while Fridays are dedicated to racing from 5 pm until late. You'll find the track on the corner of Donovan and Percival Road—nice and central!
Affiliated with BMXNZ, the club ensures a safe and fair environment for everyone. Instead of charging for Wednesday training and Friday racing, the club asks for a donation to the Kapiti Foodbank, fostering community spirit.
The club proudly represents Kāpiti at various events, with members like Alex, from Paraparaumu Beach School, making waves and putting smiles on faces.
