Karate Alberta Association

Karate Alberta Association, located in Calgary, is dedicated to promoting the growth, development, and excellence of Karate in Alberta. With a strong focus on both recreational and elite athlete development, the club offers a range of programs and services to its members.

Founded as the governing association for traditional Karate in Alberta, Karate Alberta Association now represents over 1,000 athletes and member clubs within the province. As the only government recognized association for Karate in Alberta, members have access to exclusive programs and services including the Karate-specific National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) courses and certification, membership in the World Karate Federation (WKF), and access to traditional Karate tournaments under WKF rules.

The club prides itself on providing a safe and supportive environment for training and competition, with opportunities for members to work with world-class coaches and officials, become nationally and internationally certified, and access a comprehensive club insurance program.
