Kelly Signorini is a highly experienced Yoga instructor based in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. With a passion for Hatha Yoga, Kelly has also trained in other modalities, allowing her to offer a diverse and accessible approach to her teaching. Her classes are centred around strength and mobility, and she encourages her students to look inward and discover their own abilities and ideal postures.
Recognising that each individual has unique requirements, bone structures, and abilities, Kelly ensures that her classes are tailored to meet the specific needs of her students. She understands that one size does not fit all and strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all levels of practitioners.
Kelly's interest in the mind-body connexion was sparked during a workshop with Donna Fahri. She firmly believes that a regular yoga practise can help individuals move in a more fluid and balanced way, ensuring mobility well into old age. She also incorporates restorative yoga into her teaching, recognising the importance of deep rest and nurturing during the autumn and winter seasons.
As part of her passion for yoga and wellness, Kelly, together with other talented individuals, including Rebecca Murray, Cara Potts, and Jules Davidson, has opened a studio in Ellon called Kalyach Yoga & Wellness. The name of the studio is inspired by a Goddess who is said to have sculpted Scotland and is associated with transformation and change. This beautiful space allows Kelly and her team to offer yoga, pilates, and various therapies to the community.
Kelly's extensive training includes certifications from the British Wheel of Yoga, BWY pregnancy yoga, mindfulness, meditation, sacred sound healing, and many more. She has also participated in anatomy workshops and dissections, deepening her understanding of the human body and its connexion to yoga. Kelly continues to study and expand her knowledge, always seeking new avenues to enhance her practise and teaching.
As a member of the Grampian Yoga Association and the British Wheel of Yoga – Scotland, Kelly actively engages with the yoga community, connecting with like-minded individuals and nurturing her love for yoga, nature, and cyclical practises. Her Celtic heritage also influences her exploration of cacao and shamanic practises, creating a well-rounded approach to her teaching.
Kelly Signorini is not only a dedicated Yoga instructor but also a mother, wife, and animal lover. Her commitment to her own practise and her dedication to sharing the benefits of yoga with others make her an excellent guide and resource for those seeking to enhance their well-being through yoga.
