As a voluntary body dedicated to the sport, we take great pride in providing a unique experience for all golf enthusiasts.
Nestled alongside the picturesque River Kent at Gooseholme, our putting green offers a tranquil setting just a stone's throw away from Kendal's vibrant town centre. From the end of April until mid-September, you can enjoy a leisurely game here, soaking up the natural beauty that surrounds us. And if the weather permits, we might even extend our opening hours for the Easter weekend!
Please keep in mind that our opening times are subject to weather conditions, ensuring your safety and enjoyment. To make the most of your visit, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to our closing time. This will give you a chance to prepare, warm up, and get in the zone before starting your putting adventure!
Finding us is a breeze. Simply stroll through the lively market place and head down Kent Street towards the river from the War Memorial. As you cross over Miller Bridge, take a left onto Little Aynam, and voila! You'll spot us proudly situated on the corner of Gooseholme. While there is limited roadside parking on Little Aynam, we suggest parking at the convenient Westmorland Shopping Centre car park, which is just an 8-minute walk away.
