Evie Celeste Ledger wants to share a bit about the Kerry Ledger School of Dance and Performing Arts, nestled in Ilkeston. Since 1995, this school has been a beacon for performers of all ages.
Evie, a professional dancer and Musical Theatre performer, is deeply involved in teaching and organising classes. She holds a Level 6 Trinity National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre and is an accredited I-PATH teacher. Alongside her, Matilda Rowland, boasting a Masters degree in Dance and Choreography from the University of Derby, and Chris Ledger-Knapp, with a Masters in Music Education, bring their immense talents to the school. Matilda runs EastLab Dance company and freelances at DEDA, while Chris handles music and singing lessons, also managing sound engineering for the studios and events.
Kerry Ledger School proudly participates in competitions and stages their own shows. Students are encouraged to take part in achievement awards throughout the year, earning trophies and medals in various disciplines. Safety is paramount, and all teachers are DBS checked and first-aid trained.
