With over 23 years of practise and experience, Kevin Silous is a highly trained teacher of Yoga, Meditation, Relaxation, and Deep Tissue Massage. He is fully certified and insured, ensuring a safe and professional environment for all students. Kevin offers private and small group instruction in Yoga, Breath-work, Meditation, and Massage at various venues across Bedfordshire, as well as the option for sessions in the comfort of your own home. Additionally, he has recently opened a brand new studio and treatment room for one-to-one practise and massage.
Peaceful Path Yoga in Bedford offers classes that draw from a variety of different yoga traditions, including Hatha, Anusara, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Iyengar, and Yin Yoga. Kevin has been inspired by renowned teachers such as Chandor Remete, Baron Baptiste, John Scott, Ruth White, Godfrey Deveraux, and Llama Ahbay Tulku Rinpoche. In the “About Me” section, Kevin Silous shares his personal journey and passion for yoga. He discovered his love for the synthesis of Eastern and Western philosophy and theology through a chance encounter with an Alan Watts book at the age of 18. This led him to embark on a peaceful path of self-discovery and deep philosophical inquiry through Yoga and Mindful Meditation. Kevin's journey took him across the world, studying and immersing himself in various yoga and meditation practises, as well as Buddhism.
He has trained with renowned teachers and received certifications in different styles of yoga, such as Iyengar and Anusara. Kevin's love for yoga and spirituality has led him to become a dedicated full-time teacher, helping others enrich their lives through his classes and workshops.
Kevin Silous's teaching style is a unique blend of his knowledge and experience in different disciplines of yoga and meditation. He has created his own style, Tibetan Heart Yoga, which integrates the wisdom and techniques he has gained throughout his journey. In his classes and workshops, Kevin creates a safe and supportive environment for his students to increase their fitness, confidence, and flexibility while cultivating an amazing sense of well-being.
