Welcome to the KGV Walk Group! Located in Sydney, this sports club is dedicated to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle through walking.
Led by Walk Organiser Bree, the KGV Walk Group meets on the first Friday of every month at 9:30 am. With a frequency of monthly walks, this club offers a great opportunity to socialise and stay fit.
With a current membership of 113 members, the KGV Walk Group welcomes individuals of all fitness levels. The walks are conducted at a medium pace, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced walkers. The average duration of each walk is between 45 to 60 minutes, providing a fun and engaging workout.
One of the standout features of the KGV Walk Group is its dog-friendly policy. Members are encouraged to bring their furry friends along for a pleasant walk. However, it's important to note that the walks are not pram or wheelchair-friendly.
The meeting point for the KGV Walk Group is the King George V Recreation Centre, located at 15 Cumberland Street, The Rocks. This central location allows for easy access and convenient transportation options.
