Kids and Juniors Krav Maga is a program that the Krav Maga Training Academy in Brisbane offers to children aged 7 to 14 years. The main focus of this program is to help build confidence and teach self-defence skills in a safe and supportive environment. By participating in these classes, kids will not only learn how to defend themselves but will also gain valuable life skills such as respect, discipline, and awareness.
To make the classes engaging and enjoyable for the children, the academy incorporates fun and games-driven activities. Through these activities, kids will learn safe and effective methods to handle bullying, stranger danger, and other environmental dangers. It's a great way for them to develop the necessary skills to protect themselves.
If you're interested in joining the kids classes, the academy offers free introduction sessions on the first three Sundays at the 'Gabba and the first three Mondays at Mt. Gravatt, during each school term. However, it is important to register in advance through the school's website to secure your spot.
When it comes to fees, they are billed monthly and need to be paid in advance. The academy offers a great deal for kids attending classes at both venues, as there is no extra charge. Moreover, if you have siblings training together or if you are a child of an adult attending regular evening classes, you can benefit from a discount. The first child pays the full monthly fee, while each subsequent sibling receives a 20% discount. The same discount applies to children of regular students of morning or evening classes. You can conveniently purchase memberships through the KMTA Shop at the beginning of each calendar month.
