Welcome to Kiewa Valley Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy, a leading Physiotherapist/Pilates studio located in Mount Beauty. When it comes to accessing our services, a referral is not required, except for clients covered by the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) or Enhanced Primary Care (EPC). We also offer on-the-spot rebates for clients with private health insurance ancillary cover through our Hicaps facility. Additionally, if you are visiting the area, we have a vast network of highly qualified physiotherapists that we can refer you to, ensuring you receive continued treatment even after leaving Mount Beauty.
At Kiewa Valley Sports & Spinal Physiotherapy, we offer a comprehensive range of services including physiotherapy assessment and treatment, McKenzie method physiotherapy, clinical Pilates assessment and treatment, treatment support products such as braces and lumbar rolls, Workcover approved gym for compensable clients, home visits (including Falls Creek visits by special arrangement), as well as hospital and residential care assessment, treatment, and care planning. We also provide industry training packages tailored specifically to the needs of your business.
When it comes to our treatment approach, we believe in working with you as a partner in achieving good health. During your initial visit, our physiotherapists will closely listen to your concerns, asking targeted questions to obtain a clear understanding of your problem. You will then be guided through a range of movements and actions to assess how your issue limits your function. Further specific tests may be conducted to refine the diagnosis.
For our assessment and treatment process, we utilise the McKenzie method, which was originally devised by a New Zealand physiotherapist named Robin McKenzie. This method has gained international recognition and is used by physiotherapists and doctors worldwide. By applying the McKenzie assessment process, we can gain a thorough understanding of the nature and behaviour of your issue. This enables us to provide the most effective treatment, resulting in the greatest improvement within the shortest time frame.
