Kilnsey Trekking & Riding Centre is a family-run horse riding school and pony club located in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Situated in the heart of the North Yorkshire Dales National Park, the riding centre is surrounded by stunning landscapes, including the Wharfedale Valley, Malham, Bolton Abbey, and Harrogate.
The centre offers a range of activities for adults and children, including pony trekking, horse riding lessons, horse riding holidays, and pony club events. Suitable for both able and disabled riders, the centre caters to riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced.
As a BHS Approved Riding School and Pony Club Approved Centre, Kilnsey Trekking & Riding Centre ensures the highest standards of safety and instruction. All lessons are taught by experienced and registered BHS Qualified Instructors.
For children without their own ponies, the centre offers access to the benefits of the Pony Club through their Pony Club Approved Centre status. Children can work towards Pony Club Achievement Badges, Pony Club Tests, and Progressive Riding Tests using the centre's ponies.
Throughout the year, the riding centre hosts various horse riding and pony club events. To stay up-to-date with the events, visitors can request to be added to the centre's mailing list.

Pony treks at Kilnsey Trekking & Riding Centre are suitable for riders of all levels, including beginners and novices. Led at the pace of the least experienced rider in the group, the treks are conducted at a walking pace. With a maximum of eight to ten riders per trek, riders can enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience.

We offer pony trekking, horse riding lessons and horse riding holidays, with riding stables in the heart of the North Yorkshire Dales National Park near Skipton.
