With 90 members and a reputation as one of the top County Standard Greens in the area, Kingsland Bowling Club is a thriving and sociable club that welcomes both male and female bowlers of all age groups.
At Kingsland Bowling Club, we believe that bowls is a 'Sport for All' where you can meet new friends, enjoy gentle exercise, and embrace the great outdoors. Whether you're a seasoned bowler or completely new to the sport, our club offers a friendly and welcoming environment to hone your skills and have fun.
Coaching sessions are available for newcomers, providing a great introduction to the sport. But the true joy of bowling comes from playing regularly and developing your own unique playing style. We have a variety of bowls available for new members to borrow, making it accessible for everyone.
Our club boasts a county standard green, giving players the opportunity to compete at higher levels in competitions and county games. We have a busy fixture list, with matches taking place both at home and away, against clubs in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and Powys. Additionally, our club hosts knock-out competitions throughout the season, which runs from mid-April to mid-September.
Kingsland Bowling Club is not just about the sport, it's also a place where friendships are formed, and social activities are enjoyed. Our club nights take place every Tuesday evening between 6:30pm and 9:00pm, providing the perfect opportunity for members to come together and try their hand at bowls. Located down the lane next to Kingsland Church, parking is available near the clubhouse.
Refreshments and a bar are available, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all. We also have excellent clubhouse facilities for members to utilise.
