Kington Langley Croquet Club

Kington Langley Croquet Club is a village-based croquet club located in Chippenham, North Wiltshire. The club offers both league matches and social play, providing opportunities for players of all skill levels to enjoy the sport. The club's lawns are conveniently situated next to the tennis court on the Kington Langley Recreation Ground, while the clubhouse offers facilities for players and visitors.

The club has designated club sessions for Association Croquet on Mondays at 10. 00 am and Thursdays at 5. 30 pm. For Golf Croquet, club sessions are held on Tuesdays at 10.

00 am, Wednesdays at 5. 00 pm, and Saturdays at 5. 00 pm. In addition, members are welcome to play at any time, as long as there are no matches taking place.

Home and away matches allow members to test their skills against other clubs in the region. The club also organises club competitions for both Association and Golf Croquet, including singles and doubles events, as well as fun events to foster a sense of camaraderie among members.

In recent news, the council of the Croquet Association has recognised the exceptional services of John Grimshaw, a member of Kington Langley Croquet Club, by selecting him as one of the first recipients of The Bernard Neal Award. John's involvement in croquet spans over 40 years, and he has made significant contributions to the sport at the local and regional levels. The club's president, Jane Hull, was also awarded a CA diploma at the 2020 Croquet Association AGM for her dedicated service to the club.
