The founder of Kirkcaldy-Yoga, Jan, has a deep passion for yoga that began at a young age, imitating her mother's practise from a book. Jan has been practising yoga on and off for her whole life, but it wasn't until she was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in her early 30s that she truly discovered its benefits in reducing stiffness and discomfort. Three years ago, she found Yin Yoga and experienced significant positive changes, which motivated her to undertake teacher training to share these benefits with others. Jan's specific interests lie in assisting those with arthritis, movement restrictions, and ageing, but she is also enthusiastic about introducing yoga to children and young people.
Overall, Kirkcaldy-Yoga offers a welcoming and inclusive space for individuals to explore and enhance their yoga practise. With experienced teachers, a small class size, and a variety of class options, the studio is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for individuals of all ages and abilities to experience the numerous benefits of yoga.
