Kiwarrak MTB Park Event Centre

Welcome to the Kiwarrak MTB Park Event Centre, located in Kiwarrak near Taree, NSW, Australia. This park is home to what is widely regarded as the largest network of mountain biking trails on the Eastern Seaboard. What began as a small group of friends building trails 20 years ago has grown into almost 70 kilometres of meticulously hand-cut, mountain bike-specific single trail.

Dubbed the “Tip Trails” due to their proximity to the Taree Waste Management Centre, these trails are anything but rubbish. They offer riders a true mountain biking haven. Unlike other trail systems that consist of only a few loops, the Kiwarrak trails are interconnected, creating a vast web of trails that intersect multiple times. This allows riders to customise their own adventure by choosing which trails to follow and stitch together for their ride.

The beauty of the Kiwarrak trail network lies in its non-directional nature, with 95% of the trails being rideable in both directions. This provides riders with an infinite number of paths to explore. The park caters to all styles of riding, from fast and flowy cross country (XC) trails to gravity-fed enduro trails complete with purpose-built structures such as jumps, bridges, wall-rides, drops, and roller coasters.

The park owes its success not only to its incredible trails but also to the dedicated volunteers who tirelessly build and maintain them. We proudly recognise the efforts of all trail builders, past and present, and are thrilled to share that the original trail builders from two decades ago are still involved in keeping the park in top shape.
