A typical CrossFit class at Kiwi CrossFit Kapiti consists of three elements: warm-up, strength training, and the Workout Of the Day (WOD). During the warm-up, we focus on getting our heart rate up and preparing our muscles for the upcoming workout. The strength training part involves fewer repetitions but with higher weights, targeting specific movements essential for overall performance. The WOD varies in duration and focus, incorporating a variety of exercise movements.
The goal is to challenge your body and push your limits within the timeframe of the class.
