KJ Adult Dance & Fitness

Karen Jane, the organiser of KJ Adult Dance & Fitness, wishes to extend a warm invitation to the sports community. Karen's dance school is located at the Greyfriars Community Centre in Ringwood, UK, and offers adult dance classes designed for the modern mature adult.

Classes are scheduled on Tuesdays and Saturdays with three times available: Tuesday from 09:30 to 10:25, Tuesday from 11:45 to 12:40, and Saturday from 09:30 to 10:25.

Karen has crafted these sessions to cater to all abilities, from beginners to those with dance experience. The classes focus on a combination of exercise for both body and brain, improving muscular strength, endurance, balance, coordination, and flexibility.

With over 50 years of dance experience, Karen has performed in notable venues like Paris, the Edinburgh Festival and the West End. She has also featured on “Come Dancing,” the forerunner to “Strictly Come Dancing.” In 2023, Karen joined Sir Matthew Bourne's New Adventures Overture programme as a selected dance artist.

KJ Adult Dance & Fitness also runs two dance teams for members aiming to further develop their skills. The New Forest Fusion team showcases talent at events and competitions. Alternatively, the Xmas Belles spread festive cheer with seasonal performances.
