At KJ Theatre Arts, students have the opportunity to work towards examinations if they wish to. The school follows either the ISTD or RAD syllabus for certain classes, providing students with a structured learning experience. The school has a record of high achievement in all disciplines, boasting a 100% pass rate. In addition to examinations, students also have the chance to showcase their talent through performances.

The school holds whole school shows and participates in local events such as the Yateley May Fayre, providing students with valuable on-stage experience.

The school is led by Co-Principal Kathryn Barlow, who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the teaching team. Kathryn has a BA (Hons) degree, as well as numerous dance qualifications. She has trained extensively in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, freestyle, and commercial dance styles. Her passion for teaching and performing has led her to teach in Hampshire and Surrey, specialising in tap, jazz, freestyle, and ballet.
