KLA Dance Studios, located in Newport, is a dance school that offers a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. Founded by Kristie White, Laura Carpenter, and Amy Booth, who have extensive experience in dancing and competing, KLA Dance was created with the aim of giving back to the community and helping local children benefit from the joys of dance.
At KLA Dance, the focus is not just on learning dance techniques, but also on fostering friendships, providing opportunities, and most importantly, having fun! The dedicated team at KLA Dance is passionate about watching children grow in confidence, develop their performance skills, learn to work as a team, and enhance their socialising abilities.
The dance classes at KLA Dance cover a variety of dance styles, including Latin American, Ballroom, Street, Freestyle, and Rock & Roll. Latin American classes are based on five dances, namely Cha cha cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive. Students have the opportunity to learn these dances and participate in medal tests throughout the year. Private lessons are also available for those who want to further hone their skills.
The Ballroom classes at KLA Dance include Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, and Quick Step. Children have the option to take medal exams across all five dances, and private lessons are offered for those who wish to develop their Ballroom dancing further.
KLA Dance Studios also offers Cheer Dance and Street Dance classes for all ages and abilities. Additionally, the school proudly welcomes boys to all of their classes and provides a supportive environment for them to express themselves through dance.
With five locations in South Wales, KLA Dance ensures that there is something for everyone. The dedicated instructors are professionally qualified with the IDTA & ABD, DBS checked, and first aid trained. Their friendly and approachable nature aims to make every lesson enjoyable for their students.
