Knaresborough Celtic Football Club

Knaresborough Celtic Football Club, started in 1995, is run by enthusiastic parents who volunteer their time. Their aim is to promote team spirit and inclusivity in football for children of all abilities. The club offers football for various age groups, from Under-7 to Under-18, and also has teams in the West Yorkshire division, a veterans team in the Harrogate & District league, and a section for Young Footballers aged four and up.

They always welcome new players, but sometimes there may be waiting lists due to limited facilities. For more information, you can contact the relevant manager. Knaresborough Celtic prides itself on its high standards in coaching and facilities, making football fun and nurturing for young players.

Thistle Hill is the club's home ground, known for its top-notch coaching and facilities. Check out their website and social media for updates. The Young Footballers team (4yrs-6yrs) is a big part of Knaresborough Celtic, helping kids develop and enjoy football across all age groups. Their Saturday sessions at 8:45 am on King James School's 3G pitch are perfect for beginners or those feeling a bit shy. The sessions are pay-as-you-go, helping kids make friends, learn football skills, and build confidence.
