Join the Koburakai Shotokan Karate Club, based in Wembley, London, and experience top-notch karate training with a friendly twist. David and the team are highly skilled instructors with years of dedication to Shotokan karate, ready to guide you no matter your age or skill level.
From age four and up, all are welcome—even complete beginners. Classes run across various days and locations to fit your schedule. On Saturdays, they meet at Newman Catholic College, Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School, and St Philip & St James Parish Hall. Sundays see sessions at Cardinal Wiseman and Ark Academy Wembley. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday classes are also available at different venues.
David’s mission is to help you build confidence, discipline, and flexibility while having fun. The club ensures a safe and supportive environment—every instructor is qualified, experienced, DBS checked, and covered by public liability insurance.
Karate, meaning “empty hand,” is a journey of self-defence and mental strength. Each session starts with stretches and basics, moving on to Kata and Kumite practice. Wear comfortable clothing for your first few lessons, and remember, training is barefoot!
