Kodokan Kendo Club UK, based in Watford, has been a cornerstone of the martial arts community since its founding in 1980. Established by Paul Budden sensei-Kyoshi, Nanadan (7-dan), with the support of the late Terry Holt sensei, the club is dedicated to teaching and promoting Kendo.
Paul Budden sensei is a respected NAKMAS Senior Instructor and the Technical Director of the Maltese Kendo Federation. His experience and expertise bring immense value to the club.
Kazuyo Matsuda sensei-Kyoshi Nanadan (7-dan) leads the dojo. She is a registered NAKMAS Senior Instructor and a BKA National Coach. Matsuda sensei has served as the Great Britain National Ladies Team Coach and the National Team Coach for the Maltese Kendo Federation. Her leadership ensures that members receive top-notch training.
Kodokan Kendo Club welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. The club offers a friendly and supportive environment where members can learn and grow at their own pace.
