Kumataka Bayswater Dj is proud to offer training in all three of these martial arts disciplines. The dj is the headquarters for the Ssuishi-ry Jujutsu Kai Australia & New Zealand (SJJK-AUS/NZ), and it is also affiliated with Judo WA (JWA), the state body of Judo Australia.
The head instructor of Kumataka Bayswater Dj is Thomas Crooks, a highly skilled practitioner with the rank of Sosuishi-ryu Jujutsu Gomokuroku, Kyoshi, Judo Sandan. He has dedicated many years of his life to the practise and teaching of these arts, and he regularly travels back to Japan for further training.
At Kumataka Bayswater Dj, they believe in maintaining strong connexions and preserving the traditions of these martial arts. They welcome inquiries from committed budka (martial artists) or anyone interested in embarking on the journey of learning martial arts.
Classes are held at St Augustine's Anglican Church in Bayswater, Western Australia. The class schedule includes Kdokan Jd on Mondays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Ssuishi-ry Jujutsu on Mondays from 8:00 pm to 9:15 pm, and Ssuishi-ry Jujutsu and Koshi-no-mawari on Thursdays at 8:15 pm.
Kumataka Bayswater Dj is an incorporated not-for-profit association, demonstrating their commitment to promoting the martial arts and making them accessible to all. They offer a free introductory lesson to anyone interested in trying out their training.
