Welcome to Kyu Kitso Judo Club, a friendly and well-established club located in Hanwell, West London. With over 45 years of experience, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members. As a member of the British Judo Council, we adhere to high standards of coaching and teaching.
Kyu Kitso Judo Club is a non-profit organisation, meaning that any funds we collect from mat fees are reinvested directly back into the club. This allows us to continually improve our facilities, equipment, and coaching staff, ensuring that our members receive the best training possible.
Our classes are held once a week on Friday evenings at Hanwell Community Centre. Regardless of your age, fitness level, previous experience, or ability, everyone aged 5 and above is welcome to join in and participate. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to learn and grow their judo skills.
We offer a variety of classes based on age groups. Our Primaries class, for children aged 5 to 9 years, takes place from 6pm to 7:15pm. The Juniors class, designed for 10 to 15-year-olds, runs from 7:15pm to 8:30pm. Finally, our Seniors class, for individuals aged 16 and above, takes place from 8:30pm to 10pm.
All of our classes are led by fully qualified coaches who have undergone first aid training and DBS checks. They have extensive experience in teaching judo and are dedicated to helping each member reach their full potential. We prioritise the safety and well-being of our members and maintain a high standard of coaching excellence.
At Kyu Kitso Judo Club, we believe in creating a sense of community among our members. We host events and competitions throughout the year, allowing individuals to showcase their skills and form lasting bonds with fellow judokas. We encourage a positive and supportive atmosphere, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship.
