Bike SA is thrilled to announce La Grande Gita Gravel, Gears, and Grapes, a cycling event in collaboration with the Adelaide Italian Festival. This event is all about discovering the gravel backroads of the Barossa Valley in a fun and family-friendly setting. Whether you prefer easy rail trail rides or more challenging gravel and bitumen roads, La Grande Gita has something for everyone.
Join us at Calabria Family Wines, where the event village will be buzzing with activity. Explore the local Italian wineries, enjoy some tastings, and mingle with fellow cyclists. Feel free to showcase your vintage bike and attire, or just come as you are. The choice is yours!
With ride options like Piccolo (25km), Mezzo (45km), and Grande (60km), you can choose the distance that suits you best. Pedal through vineyards, soak in the scenic beauty of the Barossa Valley, and savour the Italian-inspired festivities along the way. Registration starts at $55, and kids under 16 ride for free.
