About
Located on the south slope of Vancouver, Langara Golf Course is a traditional-style course that offers a challenging par 71 experience for players of all levels. Originally built in 1926 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, the course was redesigned by Canadian Architect Thomas McBroom, creating contoured, tree-lined fairways that are easy to walk.
The course features large rolling greens that present a challenge for players looking to score well, and the narrow fairways require accuracy off the tee. Langara Golf Course is known for its walkability, making it enjoyable for golfers of all ages and abilities.
The clubhouse at Langara Golf Course is open to the public seven days a week, offering a comfortable setting with beautiful gardens surrounding the facility. The dining lounge features spectacular views of the golf course through its glassed walls, and the menu includes a wide range of items such as homemade soup, salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, and items for sharing.
In addition to golfing, Langara Golf Course also offers golf lessons for individuals looking to improve their game. The course recently completed a drainage project, installing 83,000 meters of drainage pipe to ensure better playing conditions throughout the year, making it the driest golf course in the Lower Mainland. Whether you're looking for a challenging round of golf or a picturesque setting for your next event, Langara Golf Course has something to offer for everyone.
