Latin Interactive

Latin Interactive is a vibrant and energetic dance school based in Southampton, UK. Specialising in Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba, this dance school offers a range of classes and events for dance enthusiasts of all levels.

Every Sunday, Latin Interactive hosts the Latin Fiesta at Medbar in Southampton. The evening starts with Salsa and Bachata classes taught by guest teachers. The beginners class runs from 6 pm to 6:45 pm, followed by the intermediate class from 6:45 pm to 7:30 pm. No partner is required, as everyone dances together.

It is advised to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the classes start.

After the classes, the main room transforms into a social dancing space, with DJ Katanga playing pulsating Salsa and Bachata music until 11 pm. This is followed by DJ Panj playing a mix of Reggaeton, Latin, and more till late. For those who prefer a different style, the second room on the first floor hosts social dancing from 8 pm, with a Guest DJ spinning Kizomba, Urban Kiz, Semba, and more until 11 pm.

Admission to the Latin Fiesta is 8, including the classes and social dancing (students with ID pay 7). For those who only wish to join the social dancing, the admission fee is 5 (4 for students with ID). Cash payment is preferred if possible.

The Latin Fiesta starts at 6 pm and continues on for 1. 5 hours of classes followed by 3. 5 hours of social dancing. To make the evening even more enjoyable, Medbar offers 2 for 1 cocktails from 4 pm to 8 pm.

The venue, Medbar, is located at 50 Oxford Street, Southampton SO14 3DP. Free street parking is available around the venue after 6 pm.
