What class times and locations are available in Ilford and West Acton?

We train in Ilford, East London on Mondays 7:30pm to 8:30pm, and in West Acton, West London on Tuesdays for Adults 7:30pm to 9:00pm and Kids 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

What will new students do in their first classes?

All new students aged 7 to adults start with a warm-up plus beginner kicks, punches and defences, and as you progress you will learn forms, modern self-defence techniques and traditional weapons training.

With over 40 years of experience, Charles teaches this ancient martial art using dynamic movements and powerful techniques from the Dragon, Tiger, Leopard, Snake, and Crane styles.

Classes at Lau Gar Kung Fu cater to all ages and abilities, combining traditional methods with modern training. Classes are held every Monday from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Parkside Community Centre, 176 Goodmayes Lane, Ilford, IG3 9PP. For those in West Acton, sessions are on Tuesdays at West Acton Community Centre, Churchill Gardens, W3 0JN, with the adult class from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm and the kids' class from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
