Layritz Disc Golf Course

Layritz Disk Golf Course, located in Saanich, British Columbia, is the first sanctioned public disk golf course in Greater Victoria. This beginner-friendly course is a collaboration between the South Island Disk Golf Society and Saanich Parks and Recreation. Situated in Layritz Park next to the Vancouver Island Tech Park (VITP), the course offers a fairly flat open field layout with holes ranging from 120 to 190 feet.

Mostly wide open, the course provides a relaxed atmosphere for players to enjoy the game. While the layout features wide-open spaces, a few strategically placed trees add a bit of challenge to the course. The 1,374-foot course offers a great opportunity for players of all skill levels to practice and improve their disk golf skills.

For those looking to visit the Layritz Disk Golf Course, simply head to Markham Street from West Saanich Road towards VITP. The main parking lot at the end of the road, across from LifeLabs, provides free parking on weekdays and weekends. The first hole is conveniently located near the baseball diamond, making it easy to start your round.
