About

Noosa Lazy Run, a running club in Sunshine Coast, is excited to promote Lazy Running Bootcamps, a series of running bootcamp sessions designed to cater to runners of all levels. These bootcamps are the perfect opportunity for beginners to get started and experienced runners to enhance their skills.

Each bootcamp consists of four sessions, priced at $20 per person. You have the flexibility to choose which sessions you want to attend or opt for the entire bootcamp for just $50 per person. During these sessions, you will cover a range of topics including finding your running pace, improving your running technique, stretching and recovery, and dealing with running-related aches and injuries.

The first session, 'Know your Running Pace,' will help you discover your ideal running pace for different distances. This hour-long session includes a 5 km run, and all runners who can comfortably run 5 km or more, regardless of pace, are welcome to join. Just make sure to wear suitable running gear and bring a drink and something warm to wear before and after the run.

In the second session, 'Run Right,' you will focus on enhancing your running technique and posture. The hour-long session will involve a mix of running, talking, and demonstrating, and is suitable for both non-runners and experienced runners. Wear your running gear and bring a drink, and remember to have warm clothing for the in-between portions.

The third session, 'Running Stretches and Recovery,' will introduce you to effective stretches specifically designed for runners. You will also experience PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) stretches, which might be new to you. Ensure you wear warm gear and bring a yoga or exercise mat. Drinks will be provided to keep you hydrated.

The final session, 'Running Aches/Pains and Injuries and Running 101,' is all about preventing and treating running-related injuries. Our knowledgeable running coach, who boasts 27 years of injury-free running experience, will share personal insights on staying injury-free during your running journey. This session encourages you to ask any questions you have about running-related issues. You don't need any technical knowledge to participate; just come prepared with your questions and a willingness to learn.

Lazy Running Bootcamps will be hosted in Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. If you prefer, you can even organise your own group and request the coach to come to your location. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to improve your running skills and gain valuable insights from our experienced coach!
