

Leanne, an established personal trainer and fitness coach based in Paignton, Devon, is the driving force behind “Lean With Leanne”. As the Personal Trainer of the Year 2021, Leanne is dedicated to helping women in their fitness journey and achieving their goals while maintaining long-lasting results.
With a comprehensive approach that encompasses both the body and mind, Leanne uses her extensive knowledge in nutrition and personal training to design a tailored fitness solution for each individual. Recognising that everyone is unique, she understands the necessity for customised training plans, intensive challenges, group training sessions, and delicious recipes to keep clients on track with their eating habits.
Leanne's own personal experiences shape her approach as a Transformation Coach. Having struggled with weight and body image issues, she developed an unhealthy relationship with food and even battled with an eating disorder. This difficult journey motivated her to make a change and eventually find a passion for fitness, leading her to become a personal trainer.
Growing up as the overweight girl at school, Leanne despised physical education and any form of exercise. However, as she entered sixth form, she reached a breaking point and decided to join a gym despite her anxieties. Unfortunately, she found herself without guidance or support, feeling like an outsider in an unfamiliar environment. It was this experience that fueled Leanne's determination to ensure that no one else would feel lost and alone in their fitness journey.
Leanne took an alternative path and fell in love with group fitness classes like Zumba and BodyPump. As she shed weight and gained confidence, she recognised that her true calling was to help others through exercise. She obtained her Level 2 Exercise to Music certification, enabling her to teach and inspire others through group exercise.
