Experience the thrill of rowing on the river with Toowong Rowing Club's Learn-to-Row program. For those who have been awed by the sight of rowing boats gliding past or are eager to dive into a new sport, this program is tailor-made for beginners. Over a span of 6 weeks, participants will be guided through the fundamental techniques of rowing, equipping them with the necessary skills and confidence to row in both single and crew boats.
Sessions are scheduled every Sunday, kicking off bright and early at 6 a.m. Each session runs for about 2 hours, giving ample time to grasp the ins and outs of rowing. To hop on board, interested individuals can secure their spot by registering and paying the program fee of $200, in addition to a $16 capitation fee for Rowing QLD.
