Experience the thrill of flying and landing your own parachute with the Learn to Skydive – Static Line Parachute Jump at Skydive Northwest, the premier skydiving club in Grange-over-Sands. This is the perfect activity for anyone looking to take their first steps towards becoming a skydiver.
During your first parachute jump, which will take place from 3,500 – 4,500 feet, your parachute will automatically deploy using a 'static line' as you gracefully fall away from the aircraft. This hands-on alternative to a tandem skydive offers an affordable and exhilarating way to experience the rush of skydiving.
At Skydive Northwest, we prioritise safety and ensure that all participants receive extensive training before their jump. You will be equipped with everything you need for a successful jump, including a radio attached to your helmet for support throughout the experience. After landing, you have the opportunity to continue your progression by making more jumps from higher altitudes and following the training system called the 'category system'. It's an incredible way to build your skydiving skills and experience the true freedom of flight.
Please note that membership to the British Parachuting Association (BPA) is compulsory for all skydivers in the UK. Rest assured, as a member of Skydive Northwest, you will automatically receive BPA membership as part of the Learn to Skydive – Static Line Parachute Jump package.
