With Skydive Auckland's AFF (Accelerated Freefall) training program, you can become a confident and independent skydiver in just eight jumps. Our expert instructors will equip you with the comprehensive skills needed to control your body during the freefall and safely navigate your parachute. Completing this program is not just an adventure; it's a remarkable achievement.
To get started on your skydiving journey, the first step is to join one of our AFF Ground Training Courses. These courses are held once a month, consisting of an eight-hour session that covers everything you need to know. From learning how to exit the plane to mastering body positions and ensuring a safe landing, our course covers it all. By the end of the day, you'll be ready to take the plunge and begin your solo skydiving adventure. And if the weather permits, you can even do your first Level AFF 1 jump on the same day.
The cost of the full AFF course at Skydive Auckland is $2,991 NZD. This price is based on a “pay as you go” system, meaning you only pay for the jumps you do on the day. Our fee covers equipment hire, parachute packing, as well as comprehensive instructor briefings and debriefings. The speed of your progression through the AFF program depends on factors such as your ability, availability, and of course, the whims of Mother Nature. However, you must complete at least one jump every 30 days to meet NZPIA requirements, unless you opt for a theory refresh course.
