Come and be a part of Swimtime Yorkshire's exciting swimming event! Rocco Rockfish, an expert swimmer, will be leading our 3 stage swimming programme designed to enhance your swimming skills.
Did you know that rockfish dive deep and have a fondness for shrimps, jellyfish, and squid? Well, Rocco is just as skilled in the water and can't wait to share his expertise with you.
In stage 1 of the programme, you will learn the essentials of preparing for physical activity. You'll also master independent entries and exits from the water, as well as techniques for streamlining your body position. That's not all! Rocco will guide you through surface diving, butterfly leg action, and the alternating movement skills required for front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke.
Once you've conquered stage 1, it's time to level up in stage 2. Get ready to build upon your propulsion skills and perfect the simultaneous movement skills of arm and leg action on breaststroke and butterfly. As you progress, you'll also practice starts, turns, and finishes in various strokes. And for added survival skills, Rocco will teach you the techniques of side-stroke.
