Leicester Wildecats FC is a football club based in Leicester, Leicestershire. Established in 1996, they are one of the oldest and most respected LGBTQ+ football teams in the country. The club strongly believes that sexual orientation, race, and gender identity should never be barriers to playing football, and they welcome players of all abilities and backgrounds to join them.
In addition to playing football, Leicester Wildecats actively campaign for equality and inclusion within the sport. They have developed close ties with over 24 other clubs across the United Kingdom and work tirelessly to eradicate discrimination within football. The Gay Football Supporters Network is an integral part of the club, changing the lives of many of their members.
Leicester Wildecats offers various opportunities for their members to come together and enjoy the sport. They hold a Club Night Kickabout every Tuesday at 7:30pm at St Margarets Pastures in Leicester. This kickabout is open to all abilities and provides a fun and friendly environment for players to participate in the sport they love. Furthermore, the club competes in the GFSN National League for 11-a-side football, providing a more competitive atmosphere for those looking to challenge themselves.

They pride themselves on being the best social LGBTQ+ team in the country, organising various events such as nights out, club events, retreats, and award nights.
