The Deakin Dodgeball Society is excited to promote an upcoming Level 1 First Aid course in Melbourne. This comprehensive course covers a range of important topics that are essential for individuals looking to be prepared in emergency situations.
Participants will learn valuable skills such as performing CPR, basic life support, and the DRABCD method (Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Defibrillation). Additionally, the course will cover techniques for caring for an unconscious person and managing severe allergic reactions.
Attending this course is not only valuable for personal knowledge but may also be a requirement for many employers. Holding a Level 1 First Aid certificate can enhance your resume and demonstrate your commitment to safety and well-being.
Please note that if you plan to pursue the Level 2 First Aid certification, there is no need to complete the Level 1 course beforehand. This provides flexibility for individuals looking to further their first aid training.
