Lewes Taekwondo

Welcome to the Lewes Taekwondo community! As many of you already know, Lewes Taekwondo is a well-established martial arts school here in Lewes, happily part of the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain (TAGB).

Thanks to our TAGB affiliation, which is the largest single style association in Europe, our members have the chance to compete at the highest levels. Rest assured, all our instructors are fully qualified, DBS checked, and first aid trained, providing a safe and professional environment.

Our grading is top-notch and monitored by Grandmaster David Oliver, a 9th Dan who’s also the Chairman of the TAGB. This means our grading standards are always maintained at the highest level.

We’ve got training sessions to fit various age groups and experience levels. Fancy a taster? Drop us an email or text to book a free trial. We train on Thursdays at Southover Primary School, Potter's Lane Entrance, right here in Lewes.

For kids aged 5-11, we have the Tigers & Parents classes. Beginners can join from 17:30-18:30, and the intermediates from 18:00-19:00. Adults and advanced Tigers meet from 19:00-20:30. Note: During school holidays, junior classes will be combined from 18:00-19:00.

Our instructors, including the seasoned coaches who truly care about each student's growth. Lewes Taekwondo focuses on physical skills, discipline, and building self-confidence, always upholding the core principles of Tae Kwon Do such as respect, perseverance, and self-control.
